Park City Vacation

End of vacation and Back to Da Grind.

Well, got up about 8 as Mr. sun hit me in the eye with beam of sunshine or two. My wife was already downstairs and had some things packed for the trip home. Kids were awake but not ready and what can you do about that nothing.

Ate breakfast, help get dishes washed and put in the dishwasher. Ran upstairs to help the girls pack up and get ready for the trip home. Watched a tiny bit of the secret saturdays then loaded up the car and started on our way back home.

On the way back got some great shots of the waterfalls again. Oh and we were goign to go out to eat for lunch before we got home, kids ate an entire bag of carmels while we were driving. Not only that but we left the “Happenings” entertainment book at the condo.

We called and told the property management we accidently left it there and they were nice about and said they’d let the onsite duty manager know to keep an eye out for it before the cleanign crew gets in there. We’re a little hopeful but not by much.

We stopped by Aniplay and let the kids picj out some anime pins and such. Aniplay is one of my fave stores this one used to be known as AnimeTokyohouse but was bought out and redesigned. Due to a lack of decent management, the owners have been forced to close thier doors. I’m attempting to help by making and explaing some suggestion that may allow them to keep the buisness open yet allowing them to close the store w/o losing customers. Me? we got home I helped unpack and I went to work where I am at the moment updating the blog.

Park City Vacation day 2

Woke up the sun hitting the breaks betwwen the curtain and what a beautiful scene indeed. Went to dow to the olympic park center and checked out some the very cool scenes and the areas. Even got a few shots of Norweigen history that was involved with the olympics and park city in general.

After that we headed to McDee’s for lunch and then the outlet stores did some shopping for the kids and the Mrs. Got our oldest a cool Tee and Skullcandy Retro headset (Reminded of The DS Game The world ends with you) and then got 3 super keen mini ninja themed Tee’s from Rue12. Then went to “Claire’s” (Where me and Ronda didn’t see any real diff on the prices) then headed back to the condo.

WOO HOO! Saw 1st hour of The Clone Wars "Rise of the Bounty Hunters" BITCHES! WOOOO! (Cough Cough) Erm back to buisness. It was very cool, enjoyed watching it with our kids, even ronda came down and watched most of it with us. Made some home made mashed avacado and salsa verde mixed in with it as a kicker to the dip. everyone scarfed that down in no time flat. It’s late and I need sleep. So TTYS peeps!

park City Vacation day 1

Was a very scenic drive up. took the i15 down to provo and took route 84 up to park city thru heber. On the way up we had the occasion to see a few natural waterfalls in action due to the snow melt from where we were at. Pictires will be coming up and I wall divide them out once I get the off the camcorder.

We stopped at the heber state park/railroad to strech our feet take a small break. Seems to be a popular spot because we happened upon a up and coming model shoot that was unloading in the adjacent parking lot. We headed back on the road and travelled thru Heber city which was nice and has a danish influence as far as a majority of the buildings on the main street were concerned.

We finally reached the Park Ave Condo community up in park city mid afternoon, and unloaded the gear into the condo. (Pics forthcoming) The place itself is wondeful! Sunshine thru the main bedroom in the morning as to Nature’s alarm clock. The living room itself also has a ceiling window set so we do’nt have to use the indoor lighing till after dusk.
Ordered some chinese chicken and rice, some chicken salad for my wife and picked up some burgers and fries for our kids after we did some shoppig for the time we’re up here. Taa taa for now.
